Maths and Reading in Room 18 The Fantastic Foxes 30th March 2015

Today the Fantastic Foxes Retold a short animation clip called " Ride of passage"

Students placed each picture in order from beginning to end. Then they described what 

would happen in each picture

In maths today we looked at doubles. Like 1+1= 2, 2+2= 4, 3+3=6 for a quick warm-up. Next the Triangles and Hexagons focused on using the largest number first then they added on. The Circles and Pentagons focused on adding tens. We used happy hundreds and our number cards to help us.
